Submersible Pump Hose Reel

TSL’s submersible pump hose reel is designed to lift and store seawater hose with submersible pump. it served for self-elevating wind turbine installation vessel. Our reel is safe and reliable for one man handling operation.

TSL’s hose reels – which range to suit the hose size from 1 to 8 inches in diameter and up to 5 meters flange in diameter even more– have applied to offshore, also the hose reels are offered with capacities according to our client’s requests.

TSL’s submersible pump hose reel can equipped with telescopic system, it can extend the pump out of vessel when working and retract the pump nearby the hose reel skid for storage. The hose reel can be installed with stable winch which can keep the pump stable when it is working under the seawater and minimize the affection from the wind and waves. The stable winch also can be used as auxiliary winch. All stable winches can be used for lifting pump or tools during maintenance.

The hose reel would comprise a single drum of fabricated construction, fitted with internal bushing on a stainless-steel hollow shaft, supported on the fabricated reel skid by heavy duty phosphor bronze bearings. The bearings are mounted in steel housing, fitted with external grease lubrication points, welded or bolted to the fabricated reel skid.

The hose reel drum accommodates the seawater hose and allows the hose to coil with the heave-in and payout functions. There are two seawater hoses connected to a submersible pump through a “Y” type connector.

The stainless-steel hollow shaft fitted with swivel joint on one end for seawater transport, fitted with an electric slip ring on the other end, to supply power for the submersible pump. The slip ring enables the reeling of the cable onto the drum without torsional strain. It is of IP56 construction with power rings rated to the required electrical specifications. The slip ring also comes with a stainless-steel casing and meet with IP56.

The electric control system is consisting of starter, local control or/and remote control. The cabinets’ material can be SS 316 with plastic coating which is suitable for offshore/marine outdoor environment. The cabinets are mounted on the reel skid and the local control is installed at the front of hose reel to have a good viewpoint for pump and hose within full range of operation.
